Current Favorite Toys! {5 Months}

My daughter is just over 5 months now and it is amazing to watch her "go to" toys change. Well as much as a 5 month old can. We try to limit the amount of plastic toys in K's collection. We prefer to purchase wood, but sometimes you just can't help it. For us it's just a preference when shopping for her, not a hard fast rule.

I figured I would show a few of her current favorites here on the blog today. The name of the toy will be linked below.

O'Ball Rattle by Rhino Toys

This toy is too advanced for my daughter, obviously. We like it because she can sit at it (on her own) and play without having to look down at smaller toys in her lap all the time.

What are some toys that your babies can't part with? Or any other toys you recommend?
*Disclaimer: All toys were purchased by me. I was not compensated for posting these toys on www.youngnasahousewife.com*

  1. Both of my children loved the O'ball rattle! My 3 year old favorite "toy" is a string its one of her quirks she always has a string in her hand, she also loves dress up and playing with dolls and teddy bears. My 16 month old loves music and will turn on and off his radio all day, he also loves the kitchen and blocks and trucks. We try and buy mostly wood as well but sometimes you can't avoid plastic

  2. My 1 year old loved his oball rattle! We also bought him a few other toys by that brand (like a car) and he loved those too. He still plays with them. His favorites when he first started playing with toys were any kind of teething toy, o'balls, his activity jumper (oh boy, he loved to jump) and books. He still loves books. Now that he just turned one, he loves any kind of ball, his Fisher Price Classic Record Player, a pirate ride on ship, a toy cell phone and anything he can steal from his big brothers! LOL
