About Katrina

Thanks for stopping by!

I am married to the most amazing husband in the world (every wife says that right?)He and I have a house in Florida where I am self employed as a Professional Organizer. We have a little 'rebel' named Rebel. He is a Cavapoo (mix between Caviler King and a Toy Poodle).
I took up blogging to share my life's adventures with a few readers and also for my family/friends back home in NY (they like to keep up with me). I really enjoy trying new products, food, projects, and just ranting about my everyday life. I post new blogs every Tuesday and Thursday (occasionally a bonus on Friday).
I am a Christian. I believe that as a human being I am a sinner; and that I can not redeem myself by good works. I believe that God sent His only Son to die for me so that I can inherit the kingdom of God. It is a free gift of salvation. I am saved by grace.

Enjoy reading my little blog! God Bless Y'all :)

  3. Hi Katrina, I found you through your YouTube channel. I am catholic but not practicing. I have a question about the religious statement you made above. What do you mean by you "can not redeem yourself by good works"? Does this mean in the way you practice your religion there is no need for good works because it does not change anything anyway and you will be saved either way? I'm not trying to be disrespectful of your religious beliefs. I'm just honestly curious what exactly this meant because I have never heard anybody say this before.

    1. No. That is not what I am saying. Not being able to redeem yourself by good works does not mean that you just don't do any good deeds. I believe what the bible says is true. In the book of Ephesians 2:8-9 it says "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." There are several other bible verses that state this as well. For me, I believe (like I mentioned above) that I am a sinner and there is no possible way that I can do enough good to get myself to heaven. I need a savior. Jesus is my savior. However, that doesn't mean I just do whatever I want and never do any good deeds because I'm saved. No. As a saved believer, it is my choice to follow God and walk with him. This includes going good deeds as Jesus calls up to. God calls us to obey the commandments and love our enemies. However, just trying to obey the commandments doesn't get us to heaven if we don't truly accept God's gift of sending this son. I hope that makes some sense. Finally, I strive to do good deeds/works, not because it will get me to heaven, but because I love the Lord and want to follow and obey him.
